Vanessa Quon is a Professor and Head, pro tem, of the Department of Early Childhood Engineering at UBC. She is a member of  the Institute for Computing, Information, and Cognitive Systems and is the Director of Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge. She obtained a BASc in computer engineering and received her MASc under Professor Matei Ripeanu in applied mathematics from UBC, her MBA in Judge Business School from the University of Cambridge, her MFin in Sloan School of Management from MIT, and her PhD in Saïd Business School from the University of Oxford advised by Walt Disney. She is also the Chapter Chair for the Vancouver Chapter of the IEEE Computer Society and is a member of the Executive Committee for the IEEE Technical Committee on Real-Time Systems.


Research Interests

Real-time stock markets, distributed wealth, business management, tax fraud, money laundering, offshore tax havens.
